Tracking Questions

Common questions about how our shipment tracking works.

Where do I find my tracking number?

Your tracking number is included in the booking confirmation email. It follows the format FLG-YYYY-XXXXX. You can also find it on your invoice, packing list, or by contacting our team.

How often is the tracking status updated?

Tracking records are updated in real time as your cargo moves through our system. Major milestones update within 15 minutes of the event. For road freight, GPS location updates every 30 minutes.

My tracking shows "At Customs" what does that mean?

Your shipment has arrived and is being processed by customs. Our licensed agents are actively working on the clearance. Standard clearance takes 24–48 hours. Contact us if the status hasn't changed after 48 hours.

Can I track a shipment using the Bill of Lading number?

Yes. Switch to the "Bill of Lading" tab on the search box above and enter your B/L number exactly as it appears on your shipping documents. Both Master B/L and House B/L are accepted.

How do I download my Proof of Delivery (POD)?

Once your shipment status shows "Delivered", a download button will appear in the results above. You can also email tracking@freight-log.com with your tracking number and we'll send it within 1 hour.

My shipment hasn't moved in over 72 hours — what should I do?

First check if the delay is due to a weekend, public holiday, or customs hold. If not, contact our operations team via WhatsApp or the emergency line (+255 987 654 321). We will investigate within 2 hours.
